WSDG and the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association Sign Cooperation Agreement on the Sidelines of the 2017 Powering Prosperity Awards

The Waterloo Sustainable Development Group (WSDG) and the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association (OSEA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that sets into motion collaboration in the areas of promoting sustainable energy advocacy and proliferation in Canada and abroad. The agreement, formally signed by WSDG’s CEO Tarek Alfarra and OSEA’s Executive Director Nicole Risse on the sidelines of the 2017 Powering Prosperity Awards, which honor the achievements of Ontario’s leaders in sustainable energy, aims to explore cooperation in promoting Ontario’s highly innovative sustainable energy industry. WSDG Attends Toronto’s Green Business Forum, Meets with OSEA

WSDG’s CEO Tarek Alfarra and CSO Ian Chow took part in Toronto City Hall’s and GTAA Partners in Project Green’s “Green Business Forum” that was held at Toronto City Hall on Wednesday. The Forum, which saw the participation of a number of Ontario based sustainability-driven enterprises emphasized how adopting a green philosophy and approach benefits not only the environment, but is also good for business. Participants shared innovative ideas and success stories in sustainability projects and ventures across the province and Canada. WSDG Tours OSEA’s Green Energy Doors Open 2016

WSDG partners Tarek Alfarra and Ian Chow took part in this year’s edition of the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association’s “Green Energy Doors Open” province-wide three-day expo where they toured and cemented links with a number of participating community and commercial sustainable energy entities and businesses across Ontario, Canada. In Elora, Alfarra and Chow visited Anvil Crawler Development Corp’s offices – located in a purpose built 500 KW solar building – and examined their new off-grid electric vehicle car charger and portable and scalable off-grid “AC Power House”, which is designed to provide a 24-hour solar energy output.
